We are seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Technician to join our tight-knit team. As a Marine Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on various types of marine vessels. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Pay to be compensated with experience.
Duties:
– Conduct routine maintenance tasks on marine engines, electrical systems, and other components
– Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
– Install and test new equipment and systems on marine vessels
– Perform inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
– Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
– Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Proven experience as a Marine Technician or similar role
– Strong knowledge of marine engines, electrical systems, and other components
– Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
– Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in the marine industry
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Skills:
– Marine engine maintenance and repair
– Electrical system troubleshooting and repair
– Knowledge of boat systems such as plumbing, fuel systems, and HVAC
– Familiarity with marine electronics and navigation systems
– Strong understanding of safety protocols in the marine industry
